As part of the Quality Education Support Project, international experts have developed tools for teachers self-assessment for their professional development. Project expert Diana Yeleya tested these tools in October at six high schools across the country based on the Teacher Competency Framework. As a result of receiving feedback from participants – teachers, heads of methodological associations, these tools were revised. During the seminar-consultation with the staff of the Republican methodological center and the Republican Institute for In-service Teacher Training, the issue of how to implement three key materials important for the professional development of teachers was discussed. These materials include the “Methodology for Assessing Teacher Needs in Professional Development”, “Teacher Self-Assessment Form” and “Teacher Assessment Form by the Head of the Methodological Association”, which determine the needs of teachers in professional development.
